Winner, Winner, Chicken DinnerLooking for quick and easy weeknight meals? We’ve got you covered. Anderson Pediatric Dentistry believes in the power of family meals, but we know that life is busy and most of us don’t have time for hard-to-make dinners. Use this list of easy crockpot meals to save time in the kitchen and have more time with your family.
Remember, family dinners have been shown to help the entire family, from increasing young children’s vocabulary and reading success, to decreasing teenage anxiety and moodiness! (https://www.andersonpediatricdentistry.com/blog/post/winner-winner-chicken-dinner.html)
You have to eat. Why not eat together?!?
Shrimp Stir-fry freezer pack
Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken
Slow Cooker Meatloaf Stuffed Peppers and Mashed Potatoes
Crockpot Beef Stew
Crockpot Chicken and Gravy
Crockpot Butter Chicken:
Aldi, Wal-Mart and Target pretty much all sell jars of Butter Chicken sauce that you can seriously just open and pour over chicken thighs in the crockpot. Let it cook for 5-6 hours, add some rice and some broccoli or peas and call it a meal! Pick up a pack of Naan bread for an even better meal.
You can make homemade meatballs, or you can pour frozen meatballs and a jar of spaghetti sauce in a crockpot and let it cook itself. Add some sub rolls and provolone or mozzarella cheese and enjoy meatball subs at home. Make a veggie on the side just to keep us happy, okay?
Have you made any of these? Do you have any easy, healthy meal ideas you want to share? Post them on our Anderson Pediatric Dentistry Facebook page and share them with all the other busy families out there that are trying to carve time out to eat dinner together! Remember, Anderson Pediatric Dentistry wants to be more than just the best pediatric dentist. We want to be your neighborhood dentist, your go-to resource and a place where your child loves to visit.
